Detailed Planning Leads to Smooth Transitions

Dominion Medical Management knows that a smooth transition comes from gathering all of the important information up front. We use a proprietary, proven 320-step template for all new Client startups. One key component used in this process is the Billing Policies & Procedures checklist. The installation template includes specific steps and milestones for all aspects of a new office set-up including Client-specific credentialing, data interfaces, financial forecasts, staffing and training.  Transitions are typically done over 60-90 days. During this timeframe, Client Services, IT, Operations, Finance and Compliance all execute their respective functions to ensure that each area is online and in place prior to the start date for billing operations. In addition, data file transfers are tested prior to the go-live date.
